Robust and extremely versatile – an absolute trekking classic. The Alaska Pro Wide GTX is made for demanding day hikes to weeks-long outdoor adventures with a heavy backpack. Thanks to the Gore-Tex® lining, your feet stay dry even in mud and rain, and the slightly higher stone guard on the Alaska Pro Wide GTX version protects the leather from impacts and cuts. A reliable fit is ensured by particularly stable and durable lacing parts made of die-cast metal. The midsole made of polyurethane is covered with a 0.2 mm thick TPU film. This not only makes the sole unit lightweight and particularly comfortable but also easy to care for and significantly more hydrolysis-resistant. The insoles are made of chrome-free tanned leather. The high-cut shaft with a one-piece construction stabilizes and protects the ankle area. The wider last in the forefoot and ball area prevents lateral pressure points in the forefoot area for wider feet. The areas of use for these shoes include narrow gravel paths, forest trails, scree, and easy via ferratas.
