When measuring your hunting dog, we recommend doing this with two people and using a measuring tape.
The dog should stand straight and not sit.

Measuring the chest circumference:
The measuring tape is placed behind the front legs, and the measurement is read at the top between the shoulder blades.
Please ensure that the measuring tape is not pulled too tight. It should fit loosely.

Measuring the back length:
Here, the measurement is taken from the shoulder blades to the croup.

Measuring the chest length:
Here, you can start under the chest between the front legs and measure to the moist part or to the beginning of the thighs (female).
