For sale is a very elegant and slim double barrel shotgun from W. Foerster. The well-known royal court gunsmith from Berlin had various clients including emperors, royal houses, and tsars. There is not much to say about the manufacturer of this shotgun. They are known worldwide for their solid, fine craftsmanship and long-lasting durability.
The offered DF model has a caliber of 20/65, a barrel length of 70.5 cm, weighs just under 2.5 kg, and has the potential to be brought back to life. The barrels are choked ¼ & ¾.
The action is color-hardened and partially still recognizable. The stock is designed for right-handed shooters and has a length of 36.5 cm measured from the front trigger. This shows significant signs of use and should be custom-fitted for the shooter. It features a double trigger with the trigger guard wrapped in leather. The sliding safety prevents an unintended discharge of a shot. When breaking the shotgun, the extractor reliably lifts the ejected shells from the chamber.
