Blaser integral suppressor

All R8 Silence models now feature an integral suppressor (ISD) made from the high-strength material titanium, resulting in a significant material and thus also qualitative enhancement. As usual, the titanium ISD ensures first-class balance in all models.

Titanium is characterized by excellent corrosion resistance. In the future, all Blaser R8 Silence models will be delivered with a suppressor jacket and an integrated muzzle brake made of titanium. The damping performance and dimensions of the suppressor remain unchanged.

With the R8 Silence, Blaser offers a comprehensive solution for all hunters who want to reliably protect their hearing and that of their dog at all times. The R8 Silence has the advantage that the significantly larger outer surface of the integral suppressor allows for faster cooling. The outer contour of the barrel and titanium suppressor jacket is designed in a continuous, so-called "Bull-Barrel" design, which gives the R8 Silence its characteristic appearance.
