The Hammerli Arms Forge H1 – a pistol that embodies uncompromising reliability as timeless as the iconic 1911 design itself. This precisely crafted pistol in .22 LR caliber combines classic and modern features and proves itself with every shot, even under the most demanding conditions.
The 4.25” version offers a balanced combination of precision and compactness for the versatile and efficient .22 LR caliber. Thus, it can be used as a backup weapon for game hunting as well as in more dynamic sports shooting.
The Forge H1 features a CNC-machined aluminum slide (T7075) with a Cerakote finish, which allows for easy visual inspection of the loading status through the control port at the chamber. Additionally, the aluminum slide reduces weight, significantly enhancing carrying comfort when holstered. The safety system of the Forge H1 includes the typical 1911 thumb safety and the grip safety for the classic “Cocked & Locked” carry style. Common 1911 holsters are available due to unrestricted accessory compatibility. The hammer's safety notch acts as an additional drop safety. The Commander-style hammer and the skeletonized trigger also provide visual highlights.
In aiming, shooters benefit from a clear three-point sighting system with contrast points and a drift-adjustable rear sight, which supports the safe draw of the Forge thanks to its flat design without a vertically protruding sight blade. The screwed-on Santoprene grip panels are non-slip and meet the 1911 standard. To personalize the shooting experience, they can be replaced with countless options from the 1911 grip panels available on the accessory market. The Picatinny rail also allows for the attachment of various accessories for further customization to individual personal needs.
The Forge H1 can be disassembled tool-free without a bushing wrench and is delivered in a gun case with two 12-round steel magazines. 10-round magazines are available as an option, as well as a muzzle adapter for suppressors and compensators (1/2"-28 UNEF).
For activating additional precision reserves, another version of this pistol with a 5” barrel length is available.
