Federal hunting ammunition with lead-free Barnes TSX bullet 165 grain/10.7 grams. TSX = Triple Shock X lead-free bullet, developed as early as 2003 with the distinctive cross grooves. This technology leads to reduced barrel stress and improves precision.
Expansion to double caliber size, nearly 100% retained weight, and excellent precision characterize these lead-free expanding bullets made of 100% copper. Multiple cross grooves in the bullet create a pressure reduction in the barrel, thus being barrel-friendly and providing hair cuts at the entry point. The mushrooming into 4 "flags" ensures high energy transfer in the game body and always guarantees an exit wound.
