Somehow the powder needs to get into the case, and if you don't want to weigh each charge individually and thus take a long time, the Hornady Lock-N-Load Powder Measure is an excellent, precise, and durable device for this task. Charges from 15 to 100 Grains can be set with the supplied insert for rifle cartridges. With the additionally available pistol rotor and measuring insert (#050128), charges from 0.5 to 17 Grain can be set, and with the large volume insert even up to 265 Grain. The type of powder is completely irrelevant; stick, ball, or flake powder, all types are reliably dispensed with the highest precision through the two supplied spouts. With a distance of 0.002" or 0.05 mm from the drum to the housing, the Hornady Lock-N-Load Powder Measure is one of the most precise devices on the market. The measuring inserts can be changed lightning-fast at the push of a button, and you immediately have the last set weight adjusted with the new measuring insert. A small O-ring on the adjustment screw allows for fine adjustment before finally tightening the nut. The additionally available measuring inserts (#050116 to #050128) leave nothing to be desired in terms of precision and volume.
