The 5-in-1 cartridge is a universal blank cartridge case designed for use in lever-action rifles. It has the same length as a loaded cartridge in the calibers 45 Colt, 44-40, 38-40, and 44 Magnum and can be used in all of these calibers (must be shortened for 38-40). When shortened, it also fits in 44 Special. The case accommodates large rifle primers and has a diameter of 0.140 inches for the primer pocket. It is not intended for reuse after the first loading.
