The 9MM+P is identical to the standard 9mm Luger ammunition, except for the marking on the case head. Due to the standardized case design, it is suitable for +P load pressures without any issues. NOT RECOMMENDED FOR USE IN S&W SHIELD PISTOLS WITH NEAR MAXIMUM OR +P LOADS DUE TO INSUFFICIENT CHAMBER SUPPORT IN SOME PISTOLS. IT IS ALSO NOT RECOMMENDED TO USE THE CASES IN S&W 929 OR 986 REVOLVERS (OR IN ANY OTHER REVOLVER WITH A TITANIUM CYLINDER) DUE TO POSSIBLE EJECTION PROBLEMS.
