How does Hoppe's Bore Snake cleaning rope work?
The first part immediately removes large residues. The second part is a high-quality bronze wire brush that loosens stubborn residues. In the last section of the Bore-Snake cleaning rope, the loosened residues are thoroughly cleared out. After just one or two passes, the barrel is thoroughly cleaned. Hoppes No. 9 Solvent or Hoppes Oil can be applied to the BoreSnake for oiling the barrel during cleaning. The Boresnake cleaning rope is washable (hand wash or in a laundry bag in the washing machine) and thus reusable after heavy soiling.
