The Boresnake Viper is built on the same principle as the classic Boresnake, but is optimized for extreme contamination.
The differences between the Boresnake and the Boresnake Viper:
A conical sleeve at the beginning of the cleaning cord ensures precise guidance during passage through the barrel.
Instead of a long bronze brush, the Hoppes Boresnake Viper has three shorter bronze brushes. This means that with a single pass, every cm in the barrel is brushed three times with a bronze brush, and then the brushed-off residues are transported away from the cleaning cord three times. In this way, the cleaning effect is increased by another 50% compared to the "normal" Boresnake.
Another difference is the significantly larger lubrication zone at the end of the Boresnake Viper. This way, after a very thorough cleaning, the lubrication and corrosion protection are applied more generously and distributed even more evenly.
