The stiff, helix-shaped rubber core holds the cleaning surface against the bore and engages the rifling for optimal cleaning. The braided Nomex® surface can withstand temperatures up to 700 degrees Fahrenheit, allowing you to clean it at the range or in the field while the barrel is still hot.
