Safely and easily remove the magazine plate on Glock magazines for proper cleaning, maintenance, and inspection with the Otis Magazine Plate Disassembly Tool. This tool allows you to remove the base plate to replace or exchange springs. It works with standard Glock magazines and does not damage the plate or the magazine body. Not suitable for use with Glock-30 round magazines or extended base plates.

Instructions for Use:

Hold the magazine body in one hand and insert the pin with the other hand into the hole at the bottom of the magazine base plate.
Place your thumb on top of the magazine base plate to hold the spring.
Always keep the magazine pointed in a safe direction.
Twist your wrist downward.
Ensure your thumb keeps the magazine spring from jumping out of the magazine body.
Continue to remove the base plate from the magazine body.
