Timney triggers are characterized by precision machining and high-quality craftsmanship, and are individually hand-tested and calibrated. The Timney triggers of the Calvin Elite series are named after Calvin Motley, Timney's design genius. They are state-of-the-art, individually adjustable, two-stage triggers.

The trigger features a carbo-nitride coating, which significantly increases the surface hardness and wear resistance of the metal, ensuring maximum lifetime reliability. The wear parts are made of A2 tool steel, heat-treated to Rockwell 58, and coated with a Teflon-nickel finish. The lightweight aluminum housing is made from lightweight 6061-T6 aluminum, CNC-machined with the latest technology, and anodized in Timney Elite Gold.

The Timney Calvin Elite triggers are among the most customizable triggers on the market. The triggers are fully adjustable - pre-travel (creep), over-travel, trigger weight, and also feature a side-blocking trigger safety specifically developed by Timney.
