The trigger housing is made from a lightweight 6061 T6 aluminum alloy, which has been CNC machined using state-of-the-art robotic technology and then anodized for superior durability. The trigger is made of steel and is also precision machined and coated. The Timney Sako trigger is fully adjustable - pre-travel (creep), over-travel (sear engagement), and trigger weight (680 - 1800g) and is easy to install. No gunsmithing and no fitting or adjustment required. Additionally, the trigger features a special safety developed by Timney.

The Timney Sako triggers fit the Sako A-series (A-Action rifles): L461, L579, and L61. They are available in two finishes in black or nickel.
