As every serious shooter knows, the right trigger makes a big difference. While other parts of a rifle can also affect accuracy, replacing the trigger can make an incredible difference with minimal effort. Therefore, Timney has revamped every component of the new trigger to further enhance accuracy and precision. This new 783 trigger is an excellent addition to the Timney Trigger series Customer's Choice.

The Remington 783 Trigger is robust and features a new Sear Engagement Adjustment Lock design (SEAL'd) - adjustment option for the sear engagement (pre-travel, creep), ensuring an absolutely user-friendly experience. The trigger weight and sear overlap are adjustable. The trigger weight is adjustable from 680 - 1800g. The trigger also features a side-blocking trigger safety specifically designed by Timney.

The housing of the HIT Trigger is made from a lightweight aluminum alloy and is then anodized. The striker is made from S7 tool steel using wire EDM and combines wear resistance with superior impact strength to withstand heavy use without chipping or breaking. All other components are made from A2 tool steel, EDM-cut, and then heat-treated to RC 56-60 for long life. The precision-ground working surfaces ensure excellent reliability and a clear, clean striker release. Every part of the trigger is machined with state-of-the-art technology.
