LEE Collet Die / Individual Case Neck Sizing Die .308 Win.

The LEE Collet Die set consists of a standard seating die and a case neck sizing die; both die bodies are made of hardened steel, and each Collet Die set also includes a shell holder and a powder measure. The special feature of the Collet Die set is the adjustable case neck sizing die; it only sizes the case neck via a collet. When the case is raised into the die, the shell holder also pushes the collet upwards, which then compresses the case neck. Depending on how far the case is pushed into the sizing die, the case will be sized more or less. Lubricating the case is no longer necessary. The case is only deformed as much as is required for seating the bullet. The more the case neck is sized, the greater the extraction resistance of the bullet, and the tighter the bullet sits. The LEE Collet Die set is suitable only for new cases or those that have always been fired from the same firearm, as the case body is not sized. These die sets are not suitable for cartridges that are to be fired from semi-automatics or lever-action rifles.
