Timney's engineers have found a way to manufacture parts from a steel blank (no compromises through metal injection molding or stamped parts), assemble the trigger, and have it hand-tested and calibrated by Timney's trigger technicians – all at an unbeatable price! Designed as a Drop-In entry-level variant, the Impact offers the shooter a crisp trigger that is factory-set to 1360 – 1800 g, with a solid break point, clean release, and very short reset distance. The housing of the IMPACT trigger is made from a lightweight aluminum alloy and then anodized. The trigger bar is made from S7 tool steel using wire EDM and combines wear resistance with superior impact resistance to withstand heavy use without chipping or breaking. All other components are made from A2 tool steel, EDM-cut, and then heat-treated to RC 56-60 for long life. The precision-ground working surfaces ensure excellent reliability and a clear, clean sear release.

The Timney IMPACT AR15 trigger is installed with the original hammer/trigger pins (standard .154" (0.39cm) Small Pin) of your rifle and is compatible with all MIL-SPEC AR systems. The proprietary design of the trigger prevents pin walkout. Installation is easy and straightforward; you do not need a gunsmith, and the trigger requires no fitting or adjustment.
