The FN SCAR (Fabrique Nationale Special Operations Forces Combat Assault Rifle) is a multi-caliber rifle from the Belgian manufacturer Fabrique Nationale Herstal. The trigger is a self-contained, 100% Drop-In trigger that provides an exceptionally smooth pull.

The trigger housing is made from a lightweight 6061 T6 aluminum alloy, which has been CNC-machined using state-of-the-art robotic technology and then anodized for superior durability. The firing pin is cut from S7 tool steel using wire EDM, heat-treated to 58-60 Rockwell, and coated with Teflon-nickel to ensure lubricity and reliable, long-lasting performance. It combines wear resistance with superior impact strength to withstand heavy use without chipping or breaking. The precision-ground surfaces ensure excellent reliability and a crisp, clean firing pin release.

The Timney SCAR trigger is installed using the original firing pin/trigger pins of your rifle. The proprietary design of the trigger prevents pin walkout. Installation is easy and straightforward; no gunsmith is required, and the trigger does not need to be modified or adjusted.
