They have the same dimensions as the original metal ammunition boxes for caliber 30 of the US military, but are many times lighter! They are therefore easy to handle and transport. The lid of the boxes is equipped with a sturdy, integrated folding handle. The large, stable latch of the transport boxes ensures better sealing and reliably prevents unwanted opening of the box. However, it is designed to be easily opened with gloves if necessary. The transport cases are not only extremely robust and securely protect against dust and moisture, but they are also waterproof thanks to an O-ring seal in the lid.
