Moose Leather: The AKAH moose leather comes exclusively from Finland from wild moose and is ecologically tanned. The natural skin scratches and small injuries of the animal have not been "painted over" with color. The entire life story of a moose living in the wilderness of the far north is reflected in its leather hide. Our saddle makers master the high art of incorporating these naturally occurring small changes in the skin into the product.
