The AR15 Competition Trigger is a self-contained, single-stage trigger that offers an exceptionally smooth, clean, and creep-free pull.

The housing of the Competition Trigger is made from a lightweight aluminum alloy and is then anodized. The trigger bar is made from S7 tool steel using wire EDM and combines wear resistance with superior impact strength to withstand heavy use without chipping or breaking. All other components are made from A2 tool steel, cut by EDM, and then heat-treated to RC 56-60 for long life. The precision-ground working surfaces ensure excellent reliability and a crisp, clean sear release.

The Timney AR15 Competition Trigger is installed using the original hammer/trigger pins from your rifle. The proprietary design of the trigger prevents pin walkout. Installation is easy and straightforward; no gunsmith is required, and the trigger does not need to be modified or adjusted.

The Timney Competition Trigger for AR15 rifles is available in various configurations and with different trigger weights, featuring a skeletonized trigger shoe, as well as straight or curved trigger shoes.

The Timney AR-15 triggers are designed for all MIL-SPEC AR15 / M4 rifles (Small Pin), including Colt rifles manufactured in the 1990s with large pins (Large Pin). Therefore, there are 2 sizes - one for AR15 rifles with the so-called "Small Pin" (Pin ø 3.91mm) or with the so-called "Large Pin." The trigger is also available as Solid or Skeletonized.
