The Sig Sauer MPX is a state-of-the-art, modular submachine gun that can be quickly adapted for various applications due to its modularity. The Timney trigger for the SIG SAUER MPX is the latest in the Timney series of semi-automatic triggers in AR style. Timney worked directly with Sig Sauer during the development to optimally align the design and functionality with the weapon. The trigger is a self-contained, 100% Drop-In trigger that provides an exceptionally smooth pull, with a solid break point, clean release, and very short reset distance. The trigger housing is made from a lightweight 6061 T6 aluminum alloy, which has been CNC machined with state-of-the-art robotic technology and then anodized for superior durability. The trigger, trigger bar, and firing pin are cut from S7 tool steel using wire EDM, heat-treated to 58-60 Rockwell, and coated with Teflon-nickel to ensure lubricity and reliable, long life. They combine wear resistance with superior impact strength to withstand heavy use without chipping or breaking. The precision-ground working surfaces ensure excellent reliability and a clear, clean firing pin release.

To withstand the strong forces unleashed by the SIG MPX, the Timney AR SIG MPX trigger is equipped with a steel trigger bridge. With this, Timney once again redefines the standard for AR triggers! The trigger weight of the Timney AR Sig MPX trigger is a solid 2040 g.

The Timney SIG MPX trigger is installed using the original firing pin/trigger pins of your rifle. The proprietary design of the trigger prevents pin leakage. Installation is easy and straightforward; you do not need a gunsmith, and the trigger does not require any fitting or adjustment.
