The SD100 shotgun shell case from MTM is a high-quality and robust transport box made of extremely durable plastic and is space-saving stackable. The shell case offers versatile storage space and additionally features two removable shell compartments for 50 shotgun shells each. The lid of the case is removable and equipped with a sturdy, integrated folding handle. The stable folding latch prevents unwanted opening of the box but is designed to be easily opened even with gloves. The transport case is not only extremely robust and securely protects against dust and moisture but is also waterproof thanks to an O-ring seal in the lid.

Thanks to the grid inserts, the cartridges are kept clean and individually separated and can be easily and quickly removed when needed. They have a capacity of 50 shotgun shells and are stackable. The robust cartridge compartments are therefore perfect for space-saving storage and safe transport. The inserts are designed to fit optimally in the MTM transport cases (e.g., SD-100, S-100, SF-100, AC50C, etc.).

The VIP Steel Pro Eco wad cartridges from Eley Hawk are the first of their kind loaded by a British manufacturer. Clay pigeon shooters can now safely fire steel shot cartridges with an environmentally friendly plug without plastic for the first time. The cartridge is hot-sealed at the crimp to prevent moisture ingress and has been rigorously tested for safety and ballistics.

The key in the testing and development phase was Paul Oldring, master shooter and chief instructor at the Frobury Shooting Ground. "At Frobury, the land we shoot over is mainly water meadows, which means we are limited to a 28-gram steel cartridge that has a considerable recoil for a 15- to 17-year-old making their first shots. The new VIP 24-gram Pro-Eco-Steel load noticeably sits lighter on the shoulder and handles like a 21-gram Eley Select, yet delivers excellent results even on our 125-foot high tower. I was very impressed with their performance and would have no hesitation in using them for all my clay shooting – including competitions."
