The Browning Bockflinten B 525 are an evolution of the popular B 325 and B 425 series and have been delighting hunters and sports shooters for generations. The legendary original model, the B 25, was manufactured until the late 1970s and was globally appreciated for its robustness and good shooting performance. The good qualities of the B 25 can also be found in today's series.

Action and Locking Mechanism
The action of the B 525 Composite Adjustable is machined from a forged steel piece and is finished with a durable silver nitride coating. The sporty character of this shotgun is reflected in the minimalist decoration of the action: it bears nothing but its name, surrounded by simple decorative elements. The mechanism of the locking system is also top-notch and absolutely reliable: the shotgun locks using two parallel rear barrel hooks. A wide, flat locking wedge that engages across the entire width into the hooks significantly increases the locking surface and provides additional stability. The high-quality hinge pin with an extra wide diameter of 8 mm also guarantees a long service life. The hammer ejectors operate extremely safely and powerfully. They are functionally oriented towards the design of Holland & Holland, although modern coil springs are used for the hammers.

Safety and Trigger
The trigger safety is ergonomically optimally positioned on the stock neck. The safety slider is also responsible for barrel selection. The wide slider is simply moved left or right for barrel selection. The golden "Olympic adjustable" single trigger is controlled via a recoil switch.

Barrel Set
The barrel sets of the Browning B 525 Composite Adjustable are manufactured with lengths of 71 cm, 76 cm, or 81 cm. The barrel is equipped with an 8 mm wide ventilated rib that carries a bead sight. The top of the rib is finely guilloched. The barrel and chamber are hard chrome plated on the inside, providing optimal rust protection. A special highlight is the Back-Bored barrel technology. The shotgun barrel tapers slightly from back to front, resulting in a smoother transition at the choke. This measurably increases shot speed, significantly reduces recoil, and greatly improves coverage. The extra long and interchangeable Invector-Plus choke inserts have been specially developed for the Back-Bored barrels.

Stock
The Browning 525 Composite Adjustable features an appealing hunting stock made of high-quality composite material with textured inserts on the forend and pistol grip. The high-quality stock is rounded off by the adjustable stock comb. With the Pro Fit adjustment system, the stock comb can be optimally adjusted. The drop and cast of the shotgun can be adjusted using the adjustment screw. Furthermore, the stock is prepared for the optional addition of a counterweight. The additional weight improves the balance of the shotgun and reduces felt recoil. The stock is finished with a 20 mm wide, elastic, and smooth Inflex II stock pad, which significantly reduces recoil and simultaneously slides quickly and securely into the shoulder when shouldering.
