The System - Tradition Meets Innovation The solid system of the M18 bolt action rifle, based on Mauser's long tradition and experience, offers durability and reliability in every hunting situation thanks to high-quality steel. The top-notch three-lug bolt forms the heart of the rifle and ensures a secure locking of the chamber. Additionally, this provides improved stability during the shot cycle, leading to increased accuracy and consistency of the shot. Thanks to its construction from high-quality materials, the three-lug bolt is extremely durable and resilient. Notably, the opening angle has been reduced to 60°, allowing for a significantly faster cycling process. A double-column 5+1 magazine in standard caliber (4+1 Magnum) provides the necessary firepower. Should this ever be insufficient, a separate 10-round magazine is also available.

Trigger and Safety – Precise Control and Safety The direct trigger of the Mauser M18 allows for individual adjustment of the trigger weight from 1000 - 1500 g to suit the personal preferences of the shooter. This advantage enables precise, intuitive shot release and ensures an exact hit pattern, even with consecutive shots. The Mauser M18 features a trigger block safety with three positions, which, in addition to its ergonomically thought-out positioning, can be operated completely silently. The middle position of the safety lever allows for opening the chamber, even when the rifle is cocked and secured, enabling safe unloading and loading of the weapon.

The Stock – Robust with Practical Features The extremely robust, earth-colored polymer stock of the bolt action rifles offers a variety of advantages, including its low weight, excellent weather resistance, and durability against external influences. Furthermore, the interplay of soft grip inlays on the ergonomic pistol grip and forend ensures a pleasant and secure hold, even in wet conditions. A particularly noteworthy feature of the Mauser M18: the shock-absorbing butt pad is tool-free removable, and the rear stock has an integrated storage compartment, for example, for a cleaning cord.

The Barrel – Excellent Precision and Versatility The bolt action rifle offers a standard barrel length of 51 cm for standard calibers or 62 cm for magnum calibers, with optional barrel lengths of 47 cm or 56 cm also available. All versions feature a muzzle thread M15x1, allowing for the use of suppressors or other muzzle attachments. Thanks to the uniform and fine barrel structures achieved through the cold-hammered manufacturing process, the Mauser M18 impresses with reliable and precise shooting performance. In addition, the Mauser M18 barrels are characterized by their enormous durability and efficient heat dissipation.
