The straight-pull hunting repeater Jaeger NXT DS from the German gunsmith Haenel shines with technical finesse and ecological sustainability. Furthermore, the DS stock caters to the female anatomy and generally works excellently for smaller hand and body sizes. The torsion lock with kick-down chamber handle combines repeating and manual cocking in one lever and impresses with ergonomics and speed. The novel, lightweight FSC-certified wood composite stock in the DS version, with its noble characteristic grain, is made of birch wood and is as resistant as a synthetic stock. All plastic parts of the rifle are also made from a sustainable resin-cellulose composite material.
