Since 1971, the Italian gunmaker Fabbrica Armi Isidoro Rizzini has been known for offering visually appealing, reliable shotguns based on the latest technology at affordable prices. The Carrera® model series was developed based on insights and results from top competitions and shines with solid, reliable technology and robust, durable barrel assemblies. Additionally, the adjustable stock and trigger make this shotgun ideal for training purposes.

Action and Locking Mechanism
The action of the Carrera® HSX Sporting is machined from a solid piece of steel using the latest CNC methods. Emphasizing its sporty character, it features a gold-inlaid clay target on the high-quality action flank. The model name is also found, in gold, below this eye-catching detail. The conclusion of this appealing, sporty design is found in a delicate framing with floral engravings and a linear design. The over-and-under shotgun locks using a high-quality and precisely engaging wedge lock, which impresses with its stability and longevity.

Safety and Trigger
The trigger safety is ergonomically optimally positioned on the stock neck. The safety slider is also responsible for barrel selection. The wide slider is simply moved left or right for barrel selection. The gold, selective single trigger can be adjusted in position by 1 cm with just a few hand movements and releases at approximately 2000 g / approximately 2200 g dry. Visually, this completes the overall design of the over-and-under shotgun together with its user.

Barrel Assemblies
The barrel assemblies of the Carrera® HSX Sporting are manufactured with lengths of 71 cm or 76 cm. The barrel is equipped with an 11 mm wide, ventilated, and guilloche-patterned rib, with an LPA front sight at the end. A special highlight is the X-Cones-System® from the gunmaker. The barrel and chamber are connected by a soft cone that achieves a recoil-dampening effect. Furthermore, F.A.I.R. equips the Carrera® model series with its proprietary Extended – Technichokes®, which, like the over-and-under shotgun itself, meet the highest quality standards.

Stock
The F.A.I.R Carrera® HSX Sporting features an attractive oiled special hunting stock made of appealing walnut wood with textured checkering on the forend and pistol grip. The stock is equipped with F.A.I.R.'s own XR-Stock-Technology®, allowing the shooter to precisely adjust the adjustable stock comb to their needs in no time. The forend ends in an elegant schnabel and emphasizes the entire line of the over-and-under shotgun in its design. The stock is finished with a ventilated rubber butt pad that significantly reduces recoil and simultaneously slides quickly and securely into the shoulder when shouldered.
