The material carbon offers high strength at an extremely low weight. Therefore, the R8 Ultimate Carbon Silence is lighter than the conventional version yet still robust. The two-part stock provides maximum stability thanks to a continuous fiber alignment. The surface is coated with a UV protection layer, making it excellently protected against environmental influences. Carbon also noticeably absorbs recoil.
Stock and system are prepared for the attachment of a Blaser integral silencer, which significantly reduces the shot noise with a damping performance of 28 dB. Thanks to the evenly distributed mass along the entire barrel, the R8 Carbon Silence offers the familiar balance and handling that characterizes every R8 model.
The two-part stock fits visually perfectly with the black Blaser R8 system housing.The stock is equipped with elastomer inserts on the pistol grip, forend, and cheek piece. The hole stock ensures a completely relaxed position of the shooting hand in all shooting positions. The direct trigger feels dry as glass and releases at a trigger weight of 750 g.
