Description

For female and male hunters with a slender build, the Ultraleggero Vittoria in the left-handed version with a pistol grip adapted for smaller hands, special pitch, and shorter stock length is ideal.
The Vittoria stock has a length of 355 mm, and through various thicknesses of stock caps, it can be easily adjusted for shooters with a height of 158 cm to 178 cm. The raised stock comb with Monte Carlo effect ensures a perfect sight picture, even with narrower face shapes and high cheekbones.

The Beretta Ultraleggro Vittoria impresses with its extremely low weight of under 3 kg without having to forgo the proven characteristics of steel receivers!

Ultralight shotguns could previously only be manufactured with an aluminum receiver. Thanks to state-of-the-art production and development technology, Beretta has managed to reduce a steel receiver to the structural elements necessary for the strength and function of the weapon through "skeletonization," significantly reducing the weight. The result is a very maneuverable yet extremely robust shotgun that is ideal for hunters who value low weight, fatigue-free handling, and particularly agile pointing characteristics.

Selective single trigger or double trigger
The selective single trigger allows for easy and quick switching with a selector lever housed in the safety slider, so that depending on the hunting situation and shooting distance, the lower or upper barrel can be selected for the first shot. For the Ultraleggero, there is also a double trigger (dual mode), which allows the shooting sequence of the two barrels to be selected without taking the finger off the trigger: The front trigger fires first from the lower barrel and then, upon reactivation, from the upper barrel, while the rear trigger works exactly the opposite. This allows you to make a quick decision on which barrel you want to fire first, depending on the chosen target.

Floral engraving reinterpreted
The lightweight and decorative technopolymer inlays elegantly close the cutouts on the side cheeks and at the bottom of the receiver. Here, the floral engraving has been reinterpreted: Using the latest laser technology, a 3D surface has been created that simulates the visual effect of light reflected on steel engravings when viewed from different angles and under varying lighting conditions. A holographic effect on the motif and the name "Ultraleggero" is produced when the weapon is turned in the light. This decisive aesthetic detail, along with the matte black bluing of the receiver and the shiny black hinge pins of the Ultraleggero, gives it a unique character.

Skeletonized steel receiver
Beretta over-and-under shotguns are identifiable from afar by the unmistakable profile of the slim and elegant receiver. The new Ultraleggero is no exception: The receiver derived from the 690 series is also equipped with the unique side lock and the Beretta-typical trapezoidal shoulder pieces, as well as the double, self-adjusting locking bolt. The Italian gunmaker has set new standards in weight reduction. With a focus on stability and durability while maximizing weight savings, the side surfaces and the underside of the receiver have been extensively skeletonized using state-of-the-art simulation programs and extensive field tests, without weakening the structure.

Chamber
The Beretta Ultraleggero features a 76 mm (3 inch) universal magnum chamber with steel shot proofing and is therefore suitable for all shot cartridges with a case length of 65 - 76 mm, as well as for the use of magnum cartridges with lead shot, steel shot, and steel HP shot!

Fore-end
The fore-end construction is based on the new system of the 694. However, in the Ultraleggero, this has been made from aluminum to ensure maximum weight savings here as well.

Thanks to the optimized lever forces, a consistent opening resistance over long periods is guaranteed. The newly designed shape of the opening lever allows for comfortable handling and easy disassembly of the weapon. The fore-end is securely and play-free held by the separately positioned, self-adjusting locking system. The redesign of the opening lever has a dual effect: the large fish skin area ensures a secure grip, and the reduced metal surface avoids thermal transfer in warm weather and high shot counts.

Enlarged stock cavity
Compared to the classic 690 series, the stock cavity has been enlarged to reduce the stock weight by about 129 grams. The pistol grip stock and the fore-end are made from selected, high-quality walnut woods of class 2.5. The surface is protected with a weather-resistant and easy-care oil finish, which greatly simplifies professional restoration after scratches or damage during particularly extreme use. The woods are selected not only by class but also by weight and density to achieve a perfect balance.

EXTRALIGHT® recoil pad
The recoil-absorbing Extralight® recoil pad is 30% lighter than a standard recoil pad and, thanks to its structure that avoids liquid absorption, is much more resistant to abrasion, aging, and weather influences.

Steelium Optima Bore HP barrels
The Ultraleggero is equipped with the famous Steelium Optima Bore HP barrels. Made from Beretta's patented, triple-alloyed chrome-nickel-molybdenum steel, the high-strength barrel is produced through a very elaborate process (deep drilling, honing, cold forging, and vacuum stress-relief annealing) and is combined with the monobloc and the guilloched, full sight rail (6 mm) into a precisely shooting barrel bundle. The special barrel geometry with a double transition cone of 80 mm is designed to ensure excellent performance and consistently perfect and uniform hit patterns while simultaneously reducing recoil and muzzle rise. The barrels are available in lengths of 67 cm and 71 cm and are equipped with a round nickel-silver bead front sight.

Optima HP choke system
The OCHP chokes have a length of 70 mm and are perfect for lead and soft steel shot; when using soft steel shot over 3.25 mm shot diameter, it is recommended to use only the more open chokes up to and including Modified (1/2) for optimal coverage and unnecessary strain. Additionally, you can equip your over-and-under shotgun with the new Paradox OCHP rifle chokes (available in the aftermarket): they have a special notch that increases the width of the hit patterns at very short distances while still maintaining good density and uniformity. This type of choke is an optimal solution for the first barrel when hunting in the densest forests, where visibility is usually limited to 10/15 meters.
