The Blaser BBF 95 double rifle offers maximum safety through its reliable technology with a lock. The system is extremely easy to operate, as only one spring needs to be tensioned. Furthermore, the weapon is automatically relaxed after each individual shot, ensuring maximum safety.Trigger and LockThe Blaser BBF 97 double rifle features a double trigger system with two locks. The long gun is carried relaxed and is only tensioned immediately before the shot. Due to the double trigger system with two locks, the weapon remains tensioned on the second barrel after the first shot is fired. This allows for a quick second shot without re-tensioning if necessary. The system 97 is therefore particularly useful for the hunter who frequently wants to take advantage of the opportunity for quick doubles. The front trigger generally operates the lower barrel, while the rear trigger operates the upper barrel. The direct triggers release with incredible delicacy, making a reset unnecessary.Barrel and Action BoxThanks to exposed barrels, the point of impact remains consistently precise even with follow-up shots and regardless of the previously fired barrel. Each barrel can freely oscillate and expand. It remains unaffected in its point of impact by the other barrel. Thanks to the thoughtful technology that has been in place for decades at Blaser, adjustment by qualified personnel is easily achievable. The step to a different caliber or model is simple and cost-effective. Within the B 97 line, the type of weapon can also be changed with the barrel bundle: The double rifle can be converted to a mountain rifle, the double rifle to a double rifle or mountain rifle, and vice versa. Additionally, the barrel bundle is equipped with an open standard sight. The steel-gray anodized action box features intricately crafted game engravings on the sides and is finished with subtle arabesque engravings. The elegantly depicted scene of roe deer on the left side and the attractively rendered representation of wild boar in their natural habitat is unmatched. The shape of the action box harmonizes with the line of the entire double rifle, creating an elegant symbiosis between classic and modern design.StockThe BBF 97 features a very appealing stock made of wood class 4. A Bavarian cheek piece is integrated into the buttstock. The stock back is pleasantly ergonomic. The very pronounced pistol grip additionally provides good hold and ends with a flat black cap. The pistol grip and forend are equipped with finely crafted checkering, ensuring an optimal, firm grip in any weather condition. Furthermore, the stock is equipped with sling swivel solutions.
