The material carbon offers remarkable strength at a low weight. The R8 Ultimate Carbon Silence Leather is almost 300 g lighter than comparable models with different stock materials. The two-part stock provides maximum stability thanks to a continuous fiber alignment. The surface is equipped with a UV protection layer, making it excellently protected against environmental influences.

The stock and system are prepared for the installation of a Blaser integral silencer, which significantly reduces the gunshot noise with a damping performance of 28 dB. Thanks to the evenly distributed mass along the entire barrel, the R8 Silence offers the familiar, top-notch balance and handling. The outer contour of the barrel and silencer sleeve is designed in a stepless "Bull-Barrel" design, giving the R8 Silence both low weight and an exceptionally attractive overall appearance.

The stock visually adapts perfectly to the black Blaser R8 system housing. It is crafted with stitched genuine leather inlays on the pistol grip, forend, and cheek piece. The pistol grip and thumb hole ensure a completely relaxed position of the shooting hand and arm in all shooting positions – prone, offhand, or supported – which increases accuracy.
