Stock and System for Configuring a Modern Hunting Rifle: the Blaser R8 Ultimate Carbon Leather Repeater.

The ergonomically optimized skeleton stock is made entirely of carbon. The carbon fibers not only make the rifle incredibly light but also extremely robust. Additionally, carbon excellently compensates for recoil. The two-part stock visually adapts perfectly to the black anodized Blaser R8 Dural system housing with the gold-colored R8 logo. The stock is crafted with hand-stitched leather grip inlays on the pistol grip, forend, and cheek piece. The skeleton stock ensures a consistently relaxed position of the shooting hand and arm in all shooting positions.

The R8 Ultimate Carbon Leather is secured using a manual cocking system by relaxing the firing spring. The tension is applied only immediately before the shot by pushing the cocking slider forward. The straight pull system allows for extremely fast cycling. The dry direct trigger has a trigger weight of 750 g.
