Sauer 303 Synchro XT

The resilient self-loading rifle Sauer 303 Synchro XT is ergonomically refined and features a very robust polymer stock. With the adjustable buttstock, it guarantees a quick aim even in the most critical hunting situations.
StockSauer has equipped the 303 Synchro XT with an extremely ergonomic stock. The relaxed position of the shooting hand achieved allows for an excellently controlled shot release. Additionally, the 303 Synchro XT features an adjustable buttstock. This allows the shooter to optimally adjust the weapon to themselves and the scope used. The shooter's eye is always positioned consistently and very quickly behind the scope, drastically speeding up target acquisition. The stock is equally suitable for right- and left-handed shooters. Hidden in the buttstock, under the sling swivel mount, is a disassembly tool that allows the fore-end and buttstock to be removed in no time. A thorough cleaning of the weapon is thus possible anywhere and immediately. The stock is delivered with a soft, 15 mm long butt pad. An optional 35 mm butt pad is available. With the hard, very slip-resistant plastic cap "Speed Cap," which is only 5 mm thick, you are well-equipped for driven hunts. Optionally, the Ergo Heat pistol grip heater is available, which keeps the shooting hand pleasantly warm on cold days.Gas System & BoltThe newly optimized gas system made of steel guarantees maximum reliability and longevity. At the same time, the heavier weight of the gas system provides a slight front heaviness, resulting in excellent swing behavior of the semi-automatic. The revised bolt stands for reliability and controllability. The self-loading mechanism reduces the recoil of the rifle and the muzzle rise by 30 percent compared to a classic bolt-action rifle.Trigger & CockingThe Black Magic Trigger direct trigger, with a pull weight of only 950 g, breaks crystal clear and puts the trigger characteristics of most bolt actions to shame. The Sauer 303 is equipped with a separate ball cocking mechanism. The manual cocking lever is ergonomically perfectly placed on the receiver. It ensures maximum safety while allowing the rifle to be quietly cocked and uncocked.BarrelFor the military, barrels of semi-automatics are hard chrome plated on the inside. Sauer has adopted this technology in the development of the civilian Sauer 303. The newly designed Sauer 303 barrel extends cleaning intervals and prolongs usage intervals. Furthermore, the cold-hammered barrel impresses with its extraordinary precision. The barrel can be ordered optionally with or without thread M 15x1 and sights.MagazineThe magazine can be removed in a flash; a short press on the magazine release button, which is conveniently located in front of the magazine well, and the magazine falls safely into the leading hand. With the MagLock magazine lock, the magazine removal can be locked, preventing accidental loss of the magazine even when moving through dense underbrush.Sauer Universal Mount (SUM)The Sauer Universal Mount (SUM), specifically designed for the S 404 and S 303, combines an extremely low and elegant design with absolute shot stability and return accuracy.
