The Bockdrilling has always been considered the ideal sitting weapon. With the BD14 Luxus, Blaser now brings a Bockdrilling to the market that is equipped with its free-swinging barrels and hand tensioning, representing the latest state of technology, while combining it with the appealing elegance of a traditional hunting weapon.
With this combination, the sitting hunter is prepared for anything: hare, fox, boar, raccoons, doe and fawn, dove or marten. The Bockdrilling is therefore rightly considered the ideal sitting weapon. With the BD14, Blaser now introduces a Bockdrilling that features free-swinging barrels and hand tensioning at the cutting edge of technology. The designation "ideal sitting weapon" is rightfully claimed by the Bockdrilling produced in Germany.

Trigger and Lock
The new Blaser Bockdrilling features a double trigger system with 2 locks. The front trigger is solely responsible for the large bullet, while the rear one is for the small bullet and the shotgun barrel. The switch is located as a small pin to the right of the trigger group. When pressed down, the small bullet is selected; when pushed up, the shotgun barrel is activated. The position of the switch is ergonomically optimal, allowing the process of switching to become automatic through muscle memory. The innovative double lock system enables the shooter to fire the second shot without re-tensioning while standing. The direct triggers release dry with incredible values of 700 g (front) and 750 g (rear). When opening the lock or operating the lock lever, both locks automatically relax, providing an additional factor for maximum safety alongside the hand tensioning system. The innovative vertical block lock has been newly designed specifically for the BD14. It combines an extremely compact, stable block locking mechanism in a closed system in the barrel hook piece with the comfortable operability of classic break-action weapons. Thanks to the vertical locking, it is ensured that the lock can be reliably closed even with cartridges that slide heavily into the chamber. The lock block is easy and quick to remove and can thus be stored separately from the weapon. An additional safety feature to protect against unauthorized use.

Barrel and System Box
Thanks to the exposed barrels, the point of impact remains consistently precise even with rapid follow-up shots and regardless of the previously fired barrel. Thanks to the thoughtful technology that Blaser has stood for for decades, adjusting the two bullet barrels to each other using easily operable adjustment elements is no longer a complicated task. Furthermore, all sliding surfaces that contribute to thermal stability are hard-chromed and thus permanently protected against corrosion. This type of barrel adjustment ensures the best possible constant point of impact. Additionally, the barrels are equipped with an open stalking sight. Thus, the BD 14 is also suitable as a stalking companion. The steel-gray anodized system box harmonizes with the line of the entire Bockdrilling and creates an elegant symbiosis between classic and modern design. It is adorned on the left side of the Bockdrilling with intricate engravings of a wild boar scene. Opposite, the long gun features an appealing depiction of roe deer in their natural habitat on the right flank.

Stock
The BD14 features a very appealing stock made of wood class 4. A Bavarian cheek piece is integrated into the buttstock. The stock back runs almost straight. The very pronounced pistol grip additionally provides good hold and ends with a black flat cap. The buttstock is finished with a high-quality rubber cap that reduces the impact of recoil on the shoulder and allows the Bockdrilling to be placed quietly and securely. The pistol grip and forend are equipped with finely crafted checkering, ensuring an optimal, firm grip in any weather condition. Furthermore, the stock is equipped with sling swivel solutions. The low weight of 3.3 kg of the Bockdrilling completes the technical and functional advantages of this long gun.
