Whether shotgun, precise shot with the rifled slug through a scope, or absolutely temperature-independent precision of the rifle barrel. The Blaser over-and-under rifle BBF 97 offers the advantage of its reliable technology with two locks, allowing a second shot to be fired very quickly without re-cocking in case of need. The system is extremely easy to operate and ergonomically designed.

Trigger and Lock
The Blaser over-and-under rifle BBF 97 features a double-trigger system with two locks. The long gun is carried relaxed and is only cocked immediately before the shot. Due to the double-trigger system with two locks, the weapon remains cocked on the second barrel after the first shot is fired. This makes it possible to fire a second shot very quickly without re-cocking if necessary. The system 97 is therefore particularly useful for the hunter who frequently wants to take advantage of the opportunity for quick doubles. The front trigger generally operates the lower barrel, while the rear trigger operates the upper barrel. The direct triggers release with incredible delicacy, making a reset unnecessary.

Barrel and Action Box
Thanks to exposed barrels, the point of impact remains consistently precise even with follow-up shots and regardless of which barrel was fired previously. Each barrel can freely oscillate and expand. It remains unaffected in its point of impact by the other barrel. Thanks to the thoughtful technology that has been in place for decades at Blaser, adjustment by qualified personnel is easily achievable. The transition to a different caliber or model is simple and cost-effective. Within the B 97 lines, the type of weapon can also be changed with the barrel bundle: The over-and-under rifle becomes a mountain rifle, the over-and-under rifle becomes an over-and-under shotgun or mountain rifle, and vice versa. Additionally, the barrel bundle is equipped with an open standard sight. The steel-gray anodized action box harmonizes with the line of the entire long gun and creates an elegant symbiosis between classic and modern design.

Stock
The BBF 95 features a very appealing stock made of wood class 3. A Bavarian cheek piece is integrated into the buttstock. The stock back is pleasantly ergonomic. The very pronounced pistol grip additionally provides good hold and ends with a flat black cap. The pistol grip and forend are adorned with finely crafted checkering, ensuring an optimal, firm grip in any weather condition. Furthermore, the stock is equipped with sling swivel solutions. The low weight of 2.5 kg of the over-and-under rifle completes the technical and functional advantages of this long gun.
