Blaser exchange barrel R8 semi-weight

The Blaser Semi-Weight barrels are approximately 300 g heavier than the standard interchangeable barrels.
This makes the repeating rifle more front-heavy and improves its swing. Additionally, the inherent precision of the barrel increases, and the recoil of the repeating rifle is reduced.

The barrel profile of the Blaser R8 interchangeable barrel Semi-Weight measures 19 mm at the muzzle. The caliber selection is also large for R8 Semi-Weight exchange barrels. Blaser distinguishes between different caliber groups: Mini, Standard, Medium, and Magnum. The reason for the classification of the barrels is the modular Blaser principle. The Blaser R8 systems and stocks can be individually combined with different barrel types in various calibers. Only when changing the caliber group is it necessary to swap the bolt head on the bolt.

The Blaser R8 barrels in the Semi-Weight barrel profile are available in different barrel lengths depending on the calibers: 52, 58 cm, 65 cm. Additionally, the barrels are manufactured with and without barrel threads M 17x1 (optional M 15x1). There is also the option of whether the barrel is delivered with or without sights.

For maximum durability and maximum corrosion protection: The DLC A+ coating on the barrel surface offers a high degree of hardness, extreme corrosion resistance, and ensures low maintenance. At the same time, it gives the barrel its noble, satin matte, and deep black appearance.
