System and Stock of the Blaser R8 Success Repeating Rifle in the Silence Version for the Attachment of an Integral Silencer.

The Stock
The hole stock of this R8 Success Silence is made of wood from stock class 7. The genuine leather inserts in Cocoa color on the grip surfaces feel pleasant in the hands. The rubber butt plate noticeably reduces recoil. The forend is designed for a barrel with an integral silencer, and its end is made of black ebony.

The System
The manual cocking system of the R8 Success Silence guarantees maximum safety through the relaxation of the firing pin spring. Cocking occurs only immediately before the shot by pushing the cocking slider forward.
