Makeover! Still timelessly classic in design but now made from durable G-1000® Heavy-Duty with leather details – The Fjällräven Kånken 2.0 backpack, here in the color Black.The "Kånken" was originally developed to prevent posture problems in kindergarten and school children. Shortly after its introduction, it became indispensable in educational institutions and has saved millions of children from spinal damage 35 years later. Even today, this success story of the classic continues, and it has also established itself as a backpack for, for example, office and travel. In the Kånken 2.0, the durable and proven G-1000® Heavy Duty material (double waxed) is used instead of Vinylon F (the material of the original Kånken). This makes the backpack even more robust and, with leather details, a bit more elegant. A large zipper opening allows for easy filling of the main compartment. Additional storage space is provided by the two open side pockets and the zippered pocket on the front. The rear interior pocket is made of G-1000® Lite in the 2.0 version. As a gimmick, Fjällräven has included a seat cushion made of G-1000® Heavy Duty in each interior pocket of the Kånken 2.0 backpack. This not only serves as a seating option but also protects against the contents of the backpack pressing through to the back. Visually discreet yet still memorable, the Kånken can be carried as both an "office bag" or an outdoor companion. The carrying system with leather handles on the top and narrow, adjustable textile shoulder straps will prove to be very practical. If necessary, the backpack can be treated with Greenland wax afterwards.
