This means that there is no change in the point of impact when zooming. Thanks to Blaser's phase grating technology, the reticle lines remain fine even at high magnification. The optics feature an IVD (= Intelligent Variable Dot), an automatically activated illuminated dot for quick acquisition during moving game hunting in the magnification range of 1-4x.

Another advantage of the B1 1-7x28 iC sighting optics is the parallax adjustment. The adjustment ring on the side is locked for a distance range of 100 m, thus preventing accidental adjustment. When you aim at a target at a long distance, simply pull it out to set the desired distance range.

Fluoride-containing and high-refractive lenses ensure optimal images and suppression of color fringes and stray light. The B1 1-7x28 iC delivers high-contrast, edge-sharp images even in advanced twilight, with a transmission of over 90%. The large field of view is more than 40 m at 100 m. A 90 mm eye relief provides the necessary protection against recoil.

The “iC” in the designation stands for “Illumination Control.” This conceals an extremely useful technology. When you use the B1 1-7x28 iC riflescope with an R8 repeating rifle that has an iC tension slider, a sensor in the optics detects its position and activates or deactivates automatically. This way, you are immediately ready for the shot, while also extending the battery life of the riflescope.
