This muzzleloader is a detailed replica of the infantry rifle 1857, as it was produced in the second half of the 19th century by the "Royal Württemberg Rifle Factory Oberndorf," later the Mauser Works (1857-1866). It was primarily used in the states of Württemberg and Baden and is specially designed for the 100-meter discipline due to its high precision. The percussion weapon features a precision match barrel (5 grooves) and a nut.
