Unlike its predecessor, the reduction ring is no longer mounted with an additional small rotation, but is simply inserted into the designated notches. The subsequent counter ring provides the necessary support. The Rusan reduction ring is needed to use the universal Rusan quick-release adapter ARM-52 with the HIKMICRO Thunder clip-on devices.
