The UMS2 can charge Li-Ion, Li-Ion IMR, NiMH/NiCd, and LiFePO4 batteries. The Nitecore UMS2 charger detects the battery type, determines the battery condition, the charging status of the battery, and automatically sets the correct charging method. A standard charging current of 1000mA is preset. However, this can be manually increased, depending on the battery type, to up to 2A and in QC mode to up to 3A. Deep-discharged Li-Ion batteries can be reactivated in the UMS2 (please refer to the manual for this).
