ALLEN BORENADO CLEANING CORDS FOR SHORT AND LONG GUNS

The Allen BORENADO cleaning cord for rifles is excellent for use in the field, at the shooting range, or as a supplement to your cleaning routine at home. The bristle technology loosens dirt and deposits, and the thick, braided swab sweeps them away. This combination provides a deeper clean in a single pass. The thin end of the cleaning cord has a weighted brass guide to easily pull the cord through your firearm. Unlike other cleaning cords with light brushes, the BORE-NADO features thick, durable copper bristles that remove dirt particles, grime, powder, and other deposits that can harm your firearm. Store the compact Borenado with your firearm in the case to quickly run it through with a few drops of cleaning solution after shooting. This makes the later complete cleaning significantly easier.

Application

Insert the cleaning cord with the weighted brass end into the chamber and further into the barrel – let the cord glide through the barrel until it comes out at the end (muzzle). Grasp the brass piece, wrap the cord around your hand once, and then completely pull the BORE-NADO cleaning cord out of the barrel. Repeat this process as needed until the barrel is completely free of residues. Normally, 3 to 5 repetitions are needed for cleaning.
Cleaning Tip
The best cleaning results are achieved by adding solvents (to remove residues in the barrel) to the cord before the copper brush.
