For fans of fixed blades, the DDoptics Jagdmesser is a true "must have" in terms of form, function, and quality. The handle scales made of ebony are secured with three stainless steel screws. The blade steel is AUS-10, a proven Japanese knife steel that is very similar in composition to 440C. The steel used has been enhanced with an extra amount of vanadium for better edge retention. The spine of the blade is grooved for one third of its length, providing a non-slip thumb rest and adding an interesting look to the knife. The blade features the proven classic hollow grind. Thanks to the ergonomically shaped handle, the knife sits securely in the hand, providing a pleasant hand feel. The knife comes in a solid sheath made of black saddle leather. Attention: The knife comes with a (literally) razor-sharp edge. Please be careful when using it. User errors can lead to serious injuries.
