The Glock 19 Gen4 MOS in 9 mm Luger caliber represents the compact version of the Glock 17 and therefore has reduced dimensions, making it versatile for use. Its application area includes, for example, law enforcement or as a comfortably carried secondary weapon.
The Gen4 pistol models offer features that make them very user-friendly:
The design is based on a Modular Back Strap (MBS) grip with a built-in Short Frame control block, allowing the shooter to change the circumference of the grip and adapt it to their hand size. The grip panel exchange is very quick and easy to perform. When using an optional grip panel, the grip angle is not changed, which eliminates deviation from the familiar point of impact. Additionally, the grip and the interchangeable grip panels feature a textured surface (Gen4 RTF surface), which significantly improves grip when shooting.
The magazine holder is interchangeable, and the contact surface is enlarged and can be mounted on the right side of the pistol without the need for additional parts if required. The Gen4 models are also equipped with a tandem recoil spring, which reduces recoil and increases the lifespan of the spring.
The Modular Optic System (MOS) allows the user to use the pistol together with an electronic sight. Four adapter plates for mounting common optical systems are included:
