The double-core projectile consists of two lead cores of different hardness and the projectile jacket made of tombak. To separate the softer front core, the harder rear core received an additional tough tombak jacket. The core weight ratio is 50:50. A rear groove located in the back of the projectile reliably connects the rear core with the outer jacket. A second groove in the front area forms the cutting edge (cutting hair) and simultaneously serves as a predetermined breaking point for the front projectile jacket. An important point for the tearing off of the otherwise obstructive projectile flags. This construction creates a straight shot channel for the important safe exit.
