The signal effects may only be fired from approved blank or signal weapons with PTB mark using blank cartridges of caliber 6mm Flobert, 8mm Knall or .315 Knall in conjunction with a launch cup (additional barrel) in caliber 15mm. The signal effects may also be fired from the approved weapons in calibers 9mm PA Knall and 9mm R in conjunction with a launch cup (additional barrel) in caliber 15mm, provided that the PTB test number on the launch cup (additional barrel) matches the PTB test numbers on the blank or signal weapons.
