Bayonet M1 Garand (Single Item). The bayonet belongs to an M1 Garand, a rifle of the US armed forces. It is the M5A1 variant, which replaced the older models starting in 1953, as they were no longer up to date. In appearance, the bayonet resembles a combat knife. This bayonet saw its greatest prevalence during the Korean War.
Spring in the bayonet grip defective.
The bayonet is in very good condition, and the scabbard is included. The crossguard is marked with the type designation and the manufacturer's name, while the mouth of the scabbard bears its own type designation M8A1.
