In contrast to conventional clamp adapters, this one consists of two parts. The clamp sleeve is attached to the riflescope with 3 clamping screws. This prevents any shifting of the sleeve. The counterpart, the connector, is screwed onto the thread of the attachment device with a bayonet lock. The bayonet lock creates a shot-proof and precise connection between the riflescope and the attachment device.
